DINA WELCOMED TO THE BOARD OF THE NUTRITION SCIENCE FOUNDATION

Dina Khader has been invited to be on the board of the Nutrition Science Foundation (NSF). The NSF is a 501(c)3 nonprofit "grass roots" organization based in Austin, Texas, that seeks to promote the growing of high quality, nutrient-dense foods. Through their research, education, networking and advocacy, NSF desires to facilitate a worldwide movement that brings together people on all “growing” tiers: from large scale farmers to backyard gardeners, research scientists to food policymakers, students to agriculture professors and the public in general – to create better soil fertility, better quality food and ultimately, a better planet.

NSF is the beloved nonprofit foundation that has been the lifetime dream of its founders, Dr. Linda Forbes and her spouse, Dr. Robert Marshall. NSF’s goal is to research and promote the production of maximized soil fertility in order to cultivate open-pollinated, “Source 10” plants that will uniquely support optimal, vibrant health. “Source 10” is a term coined by Dr. Forbes to designate the “best of the best” in terms of well grown produce with high Brix levels.

NSF’s vision includes the desire to teach, educate and inspire home growers and farmers everywhere about how to produce “Source 10” foods. Although Dr. Marshall passed away in 2017, Dr. Forbes and the NSF team are passionately inspired to carry forward NSF’s dynamic principles and profound concepts. Over time, the NSF will become well known for its projects that demonstrate outstanding soil regeneration methods that can produce true quantum-quality food crops.

It is a tremendous honor for Dina to be invited to the NSF's board and The Khader Center looks forward to Dina's contributions!
