Comprehensive Nutrition

You have been misinformed about nutrition.

How did it happen? Trendy fad diets, marketing schemes, one-size-fits-all food guides, and clever salespeople have been busy taking advantage of people who simply want better health. Misinformation has become common, overshadowing the good advice with promises of quick fixes and easy answers.

The most common reason for misleading information is the illusion of convenience. The simplest (and most profitable) nutritional solution is one that works for everybody with minimal effort. That is the promise of fad diets and quickie nutritional plans. Don’t believe it. The reason these diets are fads is because they don’t work. Any success is limited and short-lived, and when the public realizes this, they move on, unfortunately often to another fad.

I’m glad to say that there’s a better way, and I call it Comprehensive Nutrition.

The first step to understanding Comprehensive Nutrition is to accept these two basic facts:

    * No two people are alike, and no single nutritional plan can work for everyone.
    * There are no shortcuts. Long-term changes requires long-term commitment.

Nutrition is my passion. I truly love helping others discover their healthiest selves, and seeing the excitement in the eyes of someone who has just realized that they are in control of their own wellness.

My goal is to help you achieve your optimal health.

We are all different. Each of us has unique talents, personalities, desires, needs, and challenges to overcome. Optimal health may not be the same for you as it is for someone else. The point of optimal health is not to measure you against a standard, but to help you feel as good as you possibly can. You know what your chronological age is, but that doesn't mean you should accept it as an inescapable indicator of your health. Your physical age is how old you feel, and unlike your chronological age, it can actually go backwards! Feeling younger, healthier, and more energetic indicates a lower physical age, and helping you accomplish that is my ultimate goal.

To do this, I use many different tools. The five cornerstones of my practice are GenoType, genomic profile, addressing personal health history, food combining for healthy weight and detoxifying. By understanding these factors individually, and determining how they impact each other, I can help you make the most of your potential and find your optimal health.
