PERSONALIZED SOLUTIONS FOR A HEALTHIER HEART

Heart disease is the leading cause of death among adults in the United States, but all too often, people don’t know they have a problem until it seems like it’s too late.

This is because so much of our everyday lives can contribute to cardiovascular issues. Eating too many saturated fats and refined sugars, high cholesterol, and not making time for exercise can all put us at risk. In addition, lesser-known issues like dental infections, emotional stress, inflammation, hormonal issues, and even Lyme disease can jeopardize our well-being.

That’s a lot to think about. There are so many contributing factors that cause cardiovascular issues that it’s hard to know where to begin. It’s easy to let our lifestyle slide until we’re in real trouble.

Woman Running for Health

This is what happened to my client, Ann. When I met her, she had tried every popular diet (Jenny Craig, Weight Watchers, Atkins, and South Beach, just to name a few), losing weight initially but always gaining it back. She had recently had a child and her busy life as a new mother had made cooking healthy meals difficult, leaving her overweight and unhealthy.

Ann had elevated levels of cholesterol and triglycerides, suffered from non-alcoholic fatty liver syndrome, and was pre-diabetic. Her heart and her overall health were in jeopardy. She needed to lose weight and get healthy. Quickly.

“I’m so frustrated and overwhelmed. I don’t know where to begin,” Ann told me. “Nothing seems to work for me.”

“Every person is different,” I reassured her.

“It’s my job to help you find what works for you. And I assure you, we’ll find it together.”

WE CREATED THE PERFECT PERSONALIZED PLAN

There were several aspects of Ann’s lifestyle that needed to be addressed, but I wanted to get a sense of the full range of issues that could be causing her problems.

  1. We started with lab tests to evaluate her heart health. We tested her vitamins, minerals, and hormone levels as well as her blood type.

  2. We then ran a bioenergetic scan on her to make sure we were looking at and addressing the most critical problems.

  3. Once we had a complete picture, Ann and I worked together to formulate a personalized nutrition plan tailored to her. Best of all, the diet included foods she enjoyed so she didn’t constantly feel like she was depriving herself.

Ann, who had always hated dieting, was thrilled to discover that her new nutrition plan let her enjoy real food rather than frozen meals. She did not have to count calories. She loved the personalized attention she received, and how The Khader Center team was just as excited about her improvements as she was.

THE RESULTS WERE INCREDIBLE!

By following her specific diet, Ann lost 18 lbs. in 6 months. Her cholesterol and triglyceride levels were back to normal and the health issues she had been suffering from disappeared. Ann was ecstatic about her results. She felt healthy again, had more energy, and was confident in her appearance. Her doctors, too, were astounded by the results.

“I can’t believe it worked!” Ann beamed. “And I even love eating healthy and exercising now!”

Ann is not a unique case. Many of my clients have experienced this very thing. Most of them had visited many doctors, but what they needed was someone to listen to them and address their unique needs with a plan designed especially for them.

When I work with cardiovascular clients, I always look at the whole person to find out what they will best respond to. We start with simple, non-invasive lab work to evaluate their heart health. Next, we look at key vitamin and mineral levels like CoQ10, magnesium, and B vitamins, which can contribute to heart disease. We also evaluate hormones, including estrogen and testosterone. Then, we develop a plan that is ideal for them, one that they can stick to and that will deliver results.
